For May's Full Flower Moon, Learn how to dye items naturally using plants, herbs, and other elements from nature. The shift toward using industrialized systems for dyeing clothing has left us with billions of gallons of dye runoff containing harmful chemicals. Lately craftspeople have shifted back to the basics of dyeing with natural plant and animal matter. 

In this workshop we will go through the basics of plant based dyes, mordants, and dyeing techniques to produce natural garments colored with natural hues. We will provide natural organic cotton for use, but feel free to bring your own natural fiber to work with as well.
